Relative Wisdom

Neil Hamilton, the former Tory MP whose career came to an end over the ‘cash-for-questions’ affair has now joined UKIP and been elected to its NEC, it appears.  Their loss is presumably the Conservatives’ gain.
I was struck in particular by this quote from UKIP’s leader, Nigel Farage.  He said that Hamilton’s “experience and wisdom will contribute significantly to UKIP”.  I couldn’t help but ask myself what exactly that says about the wisdom and experience of the rest of UKIP.  I suppose that wisdom, like much else, is relative.

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king and you wont find a more one eyed man than Hamilton! I have this mental image of Farage and Hamilton skipping a la Morecambe and Wise on their way to insult Belgians!

Of course for any other Political Party(?) this would be a kiss of death but in the case of UKIP they are at the stage when "things can only get better".

Can any one explain where Hamilton born in Fleur.e-Lis, a Monmouthshire pit village near Blackwood. in 1949 and who moved to Ammanford in the 1950's and who went to Ammanford Grammar School got his accent from?

Not from his father who I've heard I know.So how come he sounds like an English Toff?

Did he have it by the Time he went to Aber in the early 70's?

I see from the Campaign for an English Parliament Facebook account that the UKIP are now campaigning for self determination for England! Can't fault it - but why do they oppose the Welsh Assembly?

Because Wales is England's colony, silly!
